Project: N&D

This project started with a side gate.

Happy with Farid's work, N&D invited him back to solve their deck situation.

Working together on the design, the large deck on the side of the house was taken down and replaced with one at the back of the house. The new wooden deck opens up the life at the back of the house to include the garden and hot-tub.

• The new structure was integrated with the existing wooden walkways
• They reused good wood from old deck and fencing in the new deck.
  
• A door to the old deck was turned into a window
• An old window was transformed into a door to the new deck.
• The living room window was replaced.

The bench that faces the back of the house is finished off with a birdhouse and a tool cupboard which is accessed from its garden side.
